Paul S. Goen, MD, FACEP, CWSP

Dr. Paul Goen brings more than two decades of medical expertise to Third River Health, with a career spanning Emergency Medicine, Tactical Medicine, and advanced wound care. Before attending medical school, he spent eight years working in wound care—making his current role a full-circle moment in his professional journey.

An Aggie through and through, Dr. Goen earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.

He has held numerous leadership roles, including Medical Director and Regional Vice President, overseeing multiple emergency departments, hospitalist programs, and critical care practices. In addition, Dr. Goen serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, where he helps train the next generation of physicians.

At Third River Health, Dr. Goen combines his extensive clinical and leadership experience to deliver expert, compassionate, and state-of-the-art care to every patient he serves.

Amanda Dominguez, MSN, RN, CWOCN

Amanda Dominguez brings over 15 years of specialized experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care to the Brazos Valley community. An Aggie at heart, she first earned a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010. She later earned her Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

A leader in her field, Amanda serves as the head of the Brazos County Ostomy Support Group and has taught future nurses as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Texas A&M University College of Nursing. She has also served as a guest lecturer for Blinn College and various professional nursing organizations. During the pandemic, her artwork was featured on Good Morning America, honoring the dedication and resilience of nurses.

Amanda combines clinical excellence with a deep commitment to patient care, providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment to every individual she serves. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys life with her husband and three children—raising farm animals, supporting local 4-H programs, coaching youth ice hockey, developing a skincare line using honey from her bees, and painting. She strives to use every gift God has given her to serve both her family and her community.

Johnny Myers, CEO

Johnny Myers serves as Chief Executive Officer of Third River Health, bringing extensive experience in entrepreneurial leadership, organizational development, and strategic growth. A Dallas native and proud Texas A&M University graduate, Johnny has devoted his career to building sustainable organizations and empowering leaders to make meaningful impact in their communities.

His passion lies in helping individuals and teams reach their potential while cultivating strong, patient-centered organizations that enhance the health and wellbeing of the communities they serve.

Beyond his professional leadership, Johnny is deeply involved in community and nonprofit work, supporting organizations such as the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley, Millican Alliance, Jesus Said Love, and Cho-Yeh Camp & Conference Center.

Johnny and his wife, Susan, reside in Bryan, Texas, where they enjoy raising their two sons and being active members of their local community.
